Jon received his Bachelors of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in construction Management with a minor in English Literature. He worked professionally as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors and later independently with his own firm, JMS Financial Group, where he acquired the designation of Certified Senior Advisor.
After selling his practice in 2009 he moved to Israel where he taught high school English and coached football. He his school team, the Kiryat Ono Wolves, won first ever Israeli High School National Championship, while his adult team, the Tel Aviv Jaffa Sabres won three of four Israeli Football League (IFL) championships in a four-year run, culminating with a perfect season in 2013. The IFOL is sponsored by New England's Patriots' owner, Robert Kraft. Jon was the defensive coordinator of the first ever Israeli National Football team in 2012.
Upon returning to the States in 2015 Jon worked as the first assistant manager at Big Five Sporting Goods in Pismo Beach. He is a current member of the Arroyo Grande Valley Kiwanis Club and an advisor to the Key Club of Nipomo High School.
Jon is is excited about the opportunity to rejoin the world of finance as an Executive Administrative Assistant for the James Financial Group and hopes to be a valued asset to the firm and its clientele.
